Positive: The room was very big and comfortable, we had a lovely view of the fort, we ate in the restaurant and service was good, decor of hotel was beautiful

Negative: The only thing I could say was we ordered mutton/ chicken biriyarni in the restaurant. The portion size was big. However, it was mainly bone and not meat, but it did taste nice There wasn't a top sheet on the bed, but when I asked, one was provided straight away

Positive: The view across the lake was lovely. The staff were lovely. The food was great and the room was lovely

Negative: The big issue with the hotel is the neighbouring property which is a live music venue that blasts out extremely loud music every evening of the week. I had read the reviews about this however I was quite shocked at the volume even through it ended at 2230 it was really anti social and would stop me returning to the hotel

Summary: Lovely place such a pity about the noisy neighbours

Positive: The old part of the city in Bundi (closed to most things you night want to see) is a bit run down with few options for meals and coffee. The Dev Niwas is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the old town. Nice big, comfortable rooms with wonderful bathrooms and a very friendly and helpful staff.

Negative: Not really having good options for meals and being that this is a nice hotel, one would have expected a restaurant serving some good food, including breakfast--this was not the case! The food is just okay. The wifi is not reliable in the rooms, but fine in the common areas.

Positive: Hotel in an old, nice modernized haveli in the old town. Incredibly friendly staff, good size room, great shower. The in-house restaurant is good, but could have a few more options.
